Gilding paper is commonly known as electrochemical aluminum in North China. It is composed of polyester film (PET) and multi-layer chemical coating coated on its surface. The thickness of polyester film is usually 12 microns. Some of the coatings are used to produce decorative effects, while others are used to control the performance of bronzing paper. Different coatings are suitable for different substrates. The function of aluminum layer is to produce reflective effect. It is formed by the condensation of aluminum wire on bronzing paper under ultra-low vacuum after melting and sublimation at high temperature.
Usage of bronzing paper
(1) For flat ironing of cloth, the bronzing paste is placed on the screen printing plate, and the bronzing paste is printed on the object surface (such as cloth, clothing, etc.) with glue scraping. After the bronzing paste is dry, the bronzing paper is buckled on the cloth surface, 130-140 ℃, pressure 4kg / cm, time 10 & prime; Above, take out and tear off the waste film after cooling.
(2) For flat ironing of leather products, the main tool is aluminum or copper bronzing plate, which is suitable for bronzing leather products. The pressure is smaller than fabric bronzing, and the bronzing time is shorter than fabric bronzing. It can be flexibly controlled according to different products.
(3) Ribbon products are hot, common tools: silicone wheel, which is mostly used for Trademark Ribbon bronzing.
(4) Cloth products are often used for bronzing on the whole roll of cloth. According to the bronzing effect, the varieties include special bronzing and general bronzing. The varieties of bronzing paper are: full rotating film, semi rotating film, etc. The designs and colors roughly include: monochrome film, multicolor film, etc.
In addition, there is also a difference between glue and no glue on the back of bronzing paper. There is glue (i.e. hot melt glue coated on the back) bronzing paper, which is generally common in leather bronzing. Glue free bronzing paper is generally used for cloth bronzing, because the operation is flexible in the actual production process. Of course, some specific patterns are coated with bronzing glue on the back, such as positioning bronzing film. Bronzing glue can also be divided into water-based and oil-based. It can be used for different materials. After hot stamping, do not wipe the bronzing surface by hand or rub the cloth. It is recommended to do water washing test after 24 hours, and the effect is the best. In addition, the bronzing paper must be protected from sunlight, rain or moisture during transportation and storage. After the bronzing paper arrives at the factory, it must be stored in a cool, ventilated and dry area.
Precautions for use of bronzing paper
1. First, understand the substrate of the product. The substrate that needs to be bronzed determines the series of bronzing paper. Commonly used plastic substrates requiring bronzing include: ABS, PP, PE, PVC (soft and hard), PC, PS, PU, TPR, TPU, saigang, nylon, electric board, etc; In addition, there are paper (including coated paper, ordinary paper, coated paper, etc.), wood (whether it has been painted or log), leather, clothing printing, etc.
2. The use of bronzing process and the use of hot plate are different. Flat and hot; According to the use of hot plate, there are metal plate and rubber plate.
3. Bronzing area size. Mainly due to the different tightness of the release layer of bronzing paper, the size of bronzing area is also very important for the selection of bronzing paper. Generally, bronzing paper can be divided into fine word bronzing, small and medium-sized color blocks, large-area color blocks, full-area hot stamping, etc
4. Different hot stamping speeds. Whether to use full-automatic high-speed machine (the high-speed machine here is not commonly referred to as pneumatic automatic, which is in fact semi-automatic machine), semi-automatic machine, manual machine, etc.
5. Brightness and color selection. Only after the above six conditions are met, the brightness and color of bronzing paper can be selected finally. Generally speaking, the brightness of electrochemical aluminum is higher than that of powder foil, the brightness of electrochemical chromium is higher than that of electrochemical aluminum, and the brightness of bronzing paper with high thickness is better than that of bronzing paper with low thickness.
6. Requirements for hot stamping. Whether to reprint after bronzing (including machine printing, oil injection, etc.).
7. Indoor products or outdoor products. Indoor products such as cosmetic bronzing are also very demanding.
